Whiteboard Labs has always been idea developers. We take an idea through our proven process and deliver a complete site, application, or system that is a clickable representation of the initial idea. With us, ideas come full circle. In as brain children. Out as usable products.
Over the years, we’ve defined a process of development, which helps us to collaborate effectively and clearly with our clients. This process is led by 3 guiding ideals:
- Leadership
WBL approaches each project with a collaborative leadership style. We collaborate with our clients and lead them through the process to ensure the project meets their goals, budget, and timeline. - Strategy
At the start of each project, WBL uncovers and adheres to the strategy outlined in goals given by the client. Each decision made on the project thereafter should support or further the strategy and meet the goals. - Accountability
WIth web and RIA development projects, there's a high level of accountability. Our clients, as well as we, have timelines and budgets. Whiteboard Labs has to be efficient and effective with our development and problem solving. Period.
Process
Schematically, the process begins with a clear strategy, an agreed-upon desired outcome and set of goals that guides a steady flow of deliverables. This flow of work is what we call prototyping, or the iterative defining and re-defining of an idea or concept in ways that bring it closer to reality. Once this prototyping has progressed to a point of completion, we then collectively release the work into the public realm.
The prototyping process can keep moving forward and refine its trajectory all the while guided by that same strategy until the next release, and so on. For the client's sake, we prefer to define our process by the deliverables we produce on their project. Again, our process is iterative, where we bring a concept or idea closer and closer to a reality or goal.
